STRENGTH IN STYLE

Hope in Action.

Wear something with physical, emotional, and spiritual meaning. Every single purchase directly raises awareness and generates vital funding for local Idaho organizations facing community challenges.

Our core philosophy

IT'S NOT ABOUT THE WEIGHT ROOM.

It's a Mindset.

Get Strong Apparel is a dedicated, Idaho-based non-profit organization advocating for holistic mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We fight the stigmas surrounding mental illness while actively supporting survivors and marginalized community members.

We generate awareness by wearing our mission on our sleeve. Through active proceeds and direct donations, we provide resources for domestic violence survivors, breast cancer survivors, individuals navigating cerebral palsy, veterans facing mental health struggles, children in foster care, and our local unhoused population.

About the founders

FROM GRASSROOTS TO A MOVEMENT

Two coaches and competitive bodybuilders turned a passion for fitness and community into a veteran-owned brand — proving strong minds build strong communities.

The Backyard Start

The spirit behind Get Strong Apparel is as grassroots as it gets. It all started with selling shirts out of gyms, on the sidelines of backyard basketball practices, and after bodybuilding competitions. It was never just about premium fabric; it was about spreading a vital, supportive voice within our local Boise community.

The Coaching Connection

A pivotal moment came when coaching youth basketball brought us—Hulett McGaugh and Mike Triplett—together. We quickly realized our common teamwork mindset and shared passion for physical and mental resilience could merge into something greater. That coaching foundation is the bedrock of our apparel brand: motivating resilience in body and mind.

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

We give back year-round across the Treasure Valley. Strength isn't just built in the weight room — it's built on the streets, in shelters, and at the dinner table.

2nd & 4th Sunday

Food & Street Outreach

Our team and local volunteers meet in downtown Boise to serve meals directly to the unhoused. It's more than a meal — it's human connection for those facing isolation and crisis.

First Saturday of May

Annual Fun Run

Our primary funding engine — a family-friendly course bringing together local vendors, fitness enthusiasts, and donors to back the summer and fall outreach budgets.

Thanksgiving & Christmas

Holiday Giving

Targeted Thanksgiving meal distributions for families in need, plus a year-end push that turns apparel sales into winter gear and critical living supplies.

Idaho Winters

Winter Gear Drive

Where our outreach began — manufacturing and distributing heavy-duty hoodies, beanies, blankets, and gloves built to withstand the cold for those who need them most.
